Your most embarrassing date moment?
I was going on a blind date in London, and since it was an unusually sunny day, my date and I decided to meet up for a walk in Hyde Park. We spotted each other, hit it off and headed out for a walk. We were a good five minutes into a great conversation when I asked him about the concert he mentioned the night before. He was very confused and didn’t know what I was talking about, which led to an extremely awkward (and hilarious) moment when we realized that we were on the wrong date. We were both meeting someone for a blind date – at the exact same corner of Hyde Park, at the exact same time – but not each other! As we were now both late for our real dates, we had to hurry back (and not together, of course) and pretend it never happened.
What career accomplishment are you most proud of?
One of my proudest career moments was being part of a team that launched a new, multi-platform brand. It was designed to challenge the way people think about girls – and the way girls think of themselves – and to specifically inspire positive change for girls in Ethiopia.
